DOUBLE AGENTS

If you were reading comics in the late 1970s, you probably remember those first cross-over books that paired major superheroes from DC and Marvel. Imagine seeing Superman and Spider-Man together in one story- it was mind-blowing at the time. These competing publishers have given us more team-ups over the years, and folks like Win Scott Eckert and our Wold Newton Universe pals from Pulpfest have really explored the possibilities! I was curious to see if two of my favorite characters have ever been unofficially introduced, and I discovered this fun cover design on Brave and Bold Lost. James Bond and Batman- I'd love to see that! Here are a few designs from the site that Spy Vibers will enjoy. Spy Vibe turned 5 this weekend- thank you to the many readers who sent notes. See Spy Vibe's extensive James Bond and Batman image archive on Pinterst here. Stay tuned for our interview with Win Scott Eckert about 1960s spy/hero crossovers and his new publications.

  1. I'd like to see a Sherlock Holmes/Victorian Batman series/story.
